So much good reading, so little time: a must-read article by Thomas Frank previewing his new book, The Wrecking Crew; a story by another of our favorites, Marilynne Robinson, "Jack", excerpted from her new novel which is supposed to be out next month(!); a review of a Henry James bio by the ever-irascible William H. Gass; an excerpt from an early story by William Gaddis (true dat!); short pieces from Ben Marcus and George Saunders; plus so much more. And, as ever, the indispensable "Index" and "Findings" features. Well worth the cover price.
